Can Nintendo save the ninnies?

Several weeks ago I had a lovely dinner with the gentleman who runs the Nintendo business in Europe. At his house in the hills above Frankfurt we talked tennis, technology, tennis and about how I was a new target for Nintendo’s wares. I don’t think my host went quite so far as to label me part of a “lost generation” but it was somehow implied that I was perhaps of a certain age that grew up with Atari and then missed out on the next generations of computer game technology.
